Cold water, warm nervous system

By admin

A gradual protocol that takes you from 'absolutely not' to craving the lake.

We never start with the ice bath. Day one is thirty seconds of cold at the end of a warm shower. By day five, most guests walk into a 6°C lake voluntarily — some before coffee.

The physiology is well-studied; the psychology is the real prize. Doing a hard thing before breakfast recalibrates the whole day.
